My wife and I are from Southern California and we were in Post Falls, Idaho to visit our grandbabies. We heard a rattling under the hood of our 2015 Subaru cross track hybrid and so I did some research and found Zack and the team at Silver Lake automotive. They swiftly diagnosed the problem as the tensioner pulley and proceeded to give me a fair price for the repair. It was done on time and we couldn’t be happier with the service, very professional staff. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I had a great experience here, the team is super friendly. My car was in and out. The major thing I noticed about this company and the others I have used. They are not aggressive with the up-sell, they perform a check on your car, provide the manufactures recommended maintenance and leave it at that. They seem honest about how your car looks as well. We will definitely be using this location for our cars moving forward!

I was impressed with the honesty of SilverLake Automotive. They have been very helpful on several occasions. Most recently, they diagnosed and installed a new serpentine belt and alternator, and when we realized with Zach that it had been done already within the last 3 years by their shop, they reimbursed the entire job under warranty. I was able to get into their shop quickly and they finished the work in a few days despite some hiccups along the way. The customer service was excellent and communicative about any delays. And it ended up being very close to the estimated cost (a little more due to an additional part problem). Overall, it was a good experience, albeit a little expensive, but it was complicated, frustrating work. And the vehicle runs significantly better after getting it back. They will be getting repeat business in the future.
